IMELO Toolkit

The TM4 international project meeting was a milestone in the life of the IMELO Erasmus+ youth project: the youth exchange program phase came to an end, and the partners evaluated how the previously created Toolkit had become a real driver for the development of young people and youth workers.

During the youth exchange programs in Hungary and Romania, youth workers were able to try out drama pedagogy, coaching, and training methods in real-life situations. During the practical application of the Toolkit, we were able to confirm that it is a flexible, inspiring, and effective tool: it simultaneously supports young people’s self-awareness, self-confidence, and resilience, while developing the professional competencies of youth workers.

The program brought real professional development for youth workers: they were able to experience how the Toolkit can be applied in everyday youth work, how the methods can be tailored to the needs of young people, and how the roles of trainer and coach can be used consciously and reflectively.

At the meeting, the partners jointly summarized the results, fine-tuned the final version of the Toolkit, and prepared a dissemination webinar aimed at familiarizing the professional community with the results achieved and the methodological innovations tested.

The project is now not just theory, but proven practice: the Toolkit has come to life and given new impetus to the development of both young people and youth workers.
