August 25-29, 2025
In the second half of August, an international youth worker training course was held as part of the Erasmus+ program, with participants from Hungary and Romania. The international nature of the training provided an opportunity for youth workers from the two countries to compare their experiences, understand the specificities arising from different social and cultural contexts, and jointly develop solutions that can be applied more widely.
The aim of the program was to expand the methodological toolkit of youth workers and prepare them to deal with the social, psychological, and existential challenges affecting young people. Participants worked with case studies, practical simulations, drama pedagogy, and coaching methods, among other things. Reflective processing helped them to apply what they had learned to their own professional context.
One of the key outcomes of the training was the creation of the Toolkit: a collection of methodologies that systematizes exercises, techniques, and support tools, which will be further tested in the project’s youth exchange programs.
According to the participants’ reports, the training not only enriched them with new professional knowledge, but also strengthened international cooperation, cultural sensitivity, and shared responsibility in supporting young people.
